A few weeks ago I shot with two of my favorite people, Kacee and Janessa. The girls decided to go for a boho look complete with floral crowns. Spring is absolutely the perfect time for senior pictures in Portland, Oregon. The evening is full of soft, airy light and the temperature is photo shoot perfect. My models did wonderful as you can see:

DIY Floral Crowns

The flower crowns really made this senior picture shoot! They are relatively simple to make. All you need is some green stem wire and floral tape (both available at Michaels for less than $5) and some flowers and foliage from the grocery store. This crown was built with roses. Peonies also make a great option if you can find them.

We tried a few experimental shots to create movement within the frame. The girls had fun spinning and jumping between the land and rock but also thought I was a bit crazy for asking them to do it.

And no senior photo shoot is complete without some runway walking. Work it, girls.
